Jamie Wyman’s music is both personal and expansive, weaving raw emotion with a sense of hope. Her voice—ethereal, transcendent, and powerful—carries songs that rise from the ashes, turning pain into light. Rooted in deep truth, her music balances vulnerability and strength, offering a space where listeners can feel seen and uplifted.
Seamlessly transitioning from intimate acoustic sets to powerful rock performances, Jamie loves playing live shows big and small. She has opened for legendary acts like Marshall Tucker Band and Jamestown Revival and learned the art of songwriting from Susan Gibson (“Wide Open Spaces”), Jim Messina and Justin Townes Earle. Her discography includes a studio album, a live album recorded at the 2023 Under the Big Sky Festival and several singles. She is currently working on a full-length studio album to be released in late 2025: a rock opera exploring the energy of the divine feminine, a soundtrack for those working to make the world a better place.
From cozy venues to festival stages, Jamie invites you into a musical experience that resonates deeply long after the show ends. Learn more, listen, and find upcoming shows at jamiewymanband.com.
I’m a work in progress, an empath, a perfectionist, an optimist, a dreamer. Sometimes I’m stubborn and bossy. I'm intuitive and I think more than I speak. A friend once told me I have gumption. I love connecting people. I LOVE rain.
At the age of 30, I had my Saturn return and totally changed the course of my life. (If you know what a Saturn return is, then you have come to the right place!) I had been on track to be a healthcare attorney or criminal prosecutor. I even passed the bar exam on the first try. But when I got divorced, moved home to Montana and joined my first band in 2012 (while burning out in a social work job), I discovered that music was my greatest tool for making positive change in this world.
Then in 2017, I found my soulmate and partner in music. Andy Belski is my husband, bass player and co-creator of music. We live in Whitefish, Montana and I occasionally get to spend time with my grown step kids, Piper and Talon.
Did I mention I love dogs? Opal is my Australian Shepherd (1/4 Border Collie…she LOVES the ball). She is the best band dog and office assistant I could ask for. Franklin, Stella, Tanzie and Evie (a cat) pop into my dreams to say hello from time to time.
I am also obsessed with all things metaphysical: tarot, mediumship, angels, signs from the universe, astrology, runes, ESP, astral travel and the list goes on.
All this ties in nicely to the life purpose I spelled out for a school assignment my first year of college:
To illuminate possibilities for human development in individuals and society.
Turns out, I was pretty wise at the age of 18 and I am still driven by the quest to uncover ways to make myself and the world a better place. That’s why I write songs that lift people up, help them feel seen and encourage them to keep going. I write songs about death and flying, the mystical and the practical (because aren’t these the same?). I write songs that challenge us all to live up to our full potential. Sometimes I just write songs for fun (the ultimate zen).
Of course I hope you will connect with my music (I am human, after all). But I REALLY want to use my music as an excuse to build a like-minded community of people who are out there already trying to make this world a better place: the light workers, the change makers, the healers and the wisdom seekers.
Let's take this journey together.
❤️ Jamie
