(Through December 17th)
Ah! You made it to our website! Thanks for being here. I know your time is precious and we are honored that you are spending some of it with us. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about what’s going on around here. First, my reason for writing songs is related to a life purpose I spelled out for a school project in my freshman year of college: to illuminate possibilities for human development in individuals and society. What?! I forgot I wrote that, but basically I’ve always wanted to make the world a better place. After going through law school and working various social work jobs, I determined that music was my greatest tool. So I write songs that lift people up, help them feel seen and encourage them to keep going. I write songs about death and flying, the mystical and the practical (because aren’t these the same?). Then I bring the songs to the band and each person adds their unique magic. Our third eye logo is a reminder to tap into your intuition and give yourself a break once in awhile.
Our favorite thing about music is playing for a live audience. The energy that is created when we make a direct connection with you, combined with the unpredictable nature of live performance, is an exhilarating and transcendent experience. If you’d like us to play a show in your hometown, send us a message and let us know. We hope you are enjoying our recordings in the meantime. Again, thanks for being here and we hope to see you soon.
❤️ Jamie and the Band
Jamie Wyman Band delivers a unique blend of sometimes-psychedelic heavy folk rock that is both anthemic and focused on the importance of each lyric. The Whitefish, Montana-based band makes music that recreates the qualities of unconditional love: it tells all the truths, sees you for who you really are, and brings you through the dark back into the light where hope reigns. Their music soothes in times of inner conflict and unites in times of global conflict. This is not fast-food pop music, it speaks directly to your emotions and challenges us all to build a better version of ourselves and humanity. JWB’s 2022 studio album, Roads Less Traveled, represents the gentler side of their repertoire and a series of singles released in 2023 introduced their heavier folk rock sound. The January 2024 release of their live album, Under That Great Big Sky, will give you a good idea of what to expect at their live shows. This album captures their festival debut at Under the Big Sky Festival in July 2023. JWB is always writing something new and has several more studio singles slated for release in spring 2024.
